Even if it is common in texts by both native and non-native English writers, it is not correct.</p>



<p>When you want to refer to something, you can write <strong>in regard to</strong> or <strong>with regard to</strong>. Both phrases mean <strong>concerning</strong>. However, you have other alternatives:</p>



<p>regarding<br>in this regard<br>as regards<br>in respect of<br>with respect to<br>with reference to<br>relating to<br>on the subject of<br>in connection with<br>concerning<br>about<br>as for<br>re</p>
